What We Treat
Chiropractors are trained to assess the underlying causes of joint, muscle and nerve injuries and provide effective treatment using a wide range of drug-free techniques to relieve pain, restore movement and prevent further problems. You will receive a thorough examination and be given a diagnosis and prognosis for your problem. X-rays will be obtained if it is felt necessary. We also have access to reduced cost MRI scans.

We treat the whole of the spine - neck, mid back and lumbar spine. We use a range of treatment protocols, depending on your problem, including gentle, specific manipulation, mobilization, ultrasound, advanced muscle energy techniques and specific muscle rehabilitation plans to complement your chiropractic care.

We can help when you have had a car accident that affects your neck or back or a sporting injury that has injured any of your joints..

Shoulder pain - examination will show whether this is due to a neck problem or incorrect use of the shoulder, or both!

Foot pain - may take the form of ankle pain and disfunction; 'policeman's heel', toe mobility problems - all of which can lead to low back pain if left untreated.

Hip and knee pain - either can be due to problems in the joints themselves or referred from a back problem. You might worry that you are developing arthritis in your hip that turns out to be a simple back problem.

Posture and the way you do things during the day are also very important. Performing everyday activities inappropriately but regularly is one of the most common triggers of back pain.

We will examine how you perform your day to day activities - from what you do while at work to doing housework or DIY, sleeping, sitting, using a pc, playing computer games, gettiing out of the car or playing sport.

We will then show you ways of doing these things to avoid overloading your back - essential in preventing recurrences of back pain!
